Which Bond watch this is
Omega has made several James Bond versions of the Seamaster Diver 300M. This listing is the limited edition with reference 210.22.42.20.01.004, a 42 mm diver. The 20 in the fourth group is Omega’s code for a self-winding watch without chronograph counters, so the case has a crown and no pushers.
In the water
With the crown screwed down it is fine for swimming in a pool. Unscrew it only on dry land, to wind or set the time. Keep it away from hot water, and don’t take it diving with a tank.
Movement
For the Diver 300M our movement guide lists the DD8800 type, a self-winding movement. Its general figures for our automatics are four to eight seconds fast a day and 50-60 hours of reserve, so a watch worn daily keeps itself going.
Other 007 references
The Diver 300M 007 210.92.42.20.01.001 is Omega’s No Time to Die model, and Seamaster 210.90.42.20.01.001 is another Bond reference in the shop. Our No Time to Die guide covers the film watches.
Size, packaging, approval
Our size guide places a 42 mm Diver 300M with wrists of 16.5-19 cm. Before shipping you sign off on your own watch from its QC pictures, and it travels in a plain box with no brand names outside. No Omega box travels with it unless you add the set.
