Reference 210.30.42.20.06.001 is a steel Seamaster Diver 300M with a grey wave dial and a blue bezel. The photos show blue hands, round luminous markers, the date at 6 o’clock and a steel bracelet. It is 42 mm across and can go in the pool once the crown is screwed down.

Grey and blue
Most Diver 300M models keep the dial and bezel in one colour. This one pairs a grey dial with a blue bezel and blue hands, which softens the look of the steel. The wave pattern on the dial catches light differently as you turn your wrist.
Bezel and helium valve
On the Diver 300M the bezel turns one way only, so a knock cannot add time to a dive you are measuring. The small crown at 10 o’clock is the helium valve of the Diver 300M design; leave it closed.
Timekeeping
For the Diver 300M our movement guide names the self-winding DD8800 type, at about +4 to +8 seconds a day for our automatics. If you wear it daily, the rotor keeps it wound. After a few days in a drawer it may stop, and 20-30 turns of the crown start it again.
Size and weight
42 mm fits wrists of 16.5 to 19 cm in our size guide. On the bracelet the Diver 300M weighs about 178 g.
