The plain black chronograph
Among the Planet Ocean chronographs in our range this is the one without a colour theme: black dial, black bezel, steel case and bracelet, with orange kept to a few small details. Omega builds it as a self-winding chronograph in steel, which is what the 51 and the 30 in the number stand for.
Using it
The upper pusher starts and stops the chronograph, the lower one resets it. The counters on the dial add up minutes and hours, and the bezel gives you a second way to time something without touching the pushers. Each watch is tested before shipping.
Size
Our size guide places the 45.5 mm Planet Ocean with wrists over 19 cm. It is about 16 mm thick and heavy on the bracelet, so if you prefer something lighter, a 42 mm Diver 300M is easier to wear.
Water
With the crowns screwed down it can go in the pool. Do not use the pushers in the water.
