A black Dark Side of the Moon
The 311.92.44.51 start of the reference puts this Speedmaster in the Dark Side of the Moon family, which in our shop means a ceramic case at 44.25 mm. In Omega’s numbering the 51 stands for a self-winding chronograph.
Timing with the chronograph
Press the upper pusher to start, press it again to stop, and use the lower one to reset. The small counters keep the minutes and hours that pass while it runs, so it can time a meeting as easily as a steak on the grill.
Ceramic in daily wear
Ceramic resists the everyday scratches that show up on steel, though a hard knock on a door frame can chip it. Our care advice is the same for every watch: a soft cloth, no magnets and no hard knocks.
Compared with its neighbours
Dark Side of the Moon 311.92.44.51.01.003 and 311.92.44.51.01.006 come in the same 44.25 mm size. For a steel reference at Omega instead of ceramic, look at the Speedmaster Racing 329.30.44.51.01.001.
Water and shipping
Take it off before a bath, a shower or the sea; rain and washing up are fine. Your watch is photographed and filmed before it ships, and nothing is sent until you approve. Delivery is free with DHL or FedEx, and a wooden Omega box can be ordered with it.
