Grey with orange
On this Racing the dial is grey, and the orange pieces stand out against it: the long chronograph seconds hand, the small hand on the right counter and the marks on the outer minute track. That two-colour track is where the Racing name comes from at Omega. The bezel is black with the tachymeter scale, and the date sits at 6 o’clock.
Same dial code, different fitting
The Speedmaster Racing 329.30.44.51.06.001 shares the dial code 06, the fifth group of the number. Here the second group is 32, and the photos show this one on a leather strap. If you are choosing between the two, the team can send extra photos of both.
Movement
The 51 in the reference is Omega’s code for a self-winding chronograph. Which movement sits in the current batch is something the team confirms on request, together with the QC photos.
Fit
At 44.25 mm the Racing belongs with the watches our size guide suggests for wrists over 19 cm. On a slimmer wrist the lugs will reach the edges.
Leather and water
Rain and hand washing do the watch no harm, but leather soaks up water, so dry the strap flat if it gets wet and take the watch off before a shower. More Racing and Moonwatch references are in the Speedmaster collection.
