A world map on a diver
This Planet Ocean puts a world time display inside a diving watch. At Omega the centre is a relief map of the Earth seen from above the North Pole, cut into titanium, with a 24-hour ring around it and city names on the outer ring. Here the map is turquoise on black, the colour that sets it apart from the all-grey version.
Reading the time in another city
On Omega’s Worldtimer you find the city on the outer ring and read its hour on the 24-hour scale next to it, with day and night shown in different tones. Whether every part of that display turns on our watch in the current batch, the team confirms before you buy.
Case and size
Omega makes the case and bezel in black ceramic at 45.5 mm. That is a big watch: our size guide places it with wrists over 19 cm, and the Planet Ocean is about 16 mm thick.
Water
Crown screwed down, it is fine for the pool. Keep it away from hot water and deep dives.
The other colours
The same Worldtimer in black and grey is the Planet Ocean 215.92.46.22.01.007. For a black ceramic Planet Ocean with a simple GMT hand, see the Deep Black 215.92.46.22.01.001.
